You will explore the historical downtown of Kharkov – “Universitetskaya” hill where written history of Kharkov begins according to the old manuscripts. You will see many monuments connected with both past and present time of Kharkov: from legendary foundation of the city to present days. Uspenskiy Cathedral bell tower, Kharkov Opera House, “Mirror Spring” , Svobody (Liberty) Square, Gosprom, monument to the founder of Kharkov Cossack Kharko – this is a short list of sights included in the given tour program, which are the trademarks of the city.

You will be led into Orthodox Christianity origin and roots, learning the essence of Orthodox Christian churches of Kharkov, with possibility to attend service in the oldest and most respected church of kharkov – Pokrovskiy monastery and cathedral founded by the first settlers of Kharkov land – Ukrainian Cossacks. Also included: Blagoveshenskiy Cathedral, Uspenskiy Cathedral, Goldberg’s church, Church of Christ’s Birth.

KHARKOV (KHARKIV) IN WORLD WAR II

This excursion is dedicated to the tragic page in the history of our city. Since October 1941 till August 1943 Kharkov was occupied by German fascists. You will start attending the thematic exposition in Kharkov history museum, proceeding to visiting the Memorial to victims of WWII in Lesopark, Polish war cemetery, Drobitskiy Yar (place of mass execution of civil citizens of Kharkov).

- Sightseeing tour to the town of Dikan’ka mentioned in famous "Evenings at Dikan’ka’s village" by Nikolay Gogol. Nature and surroundings are just beautiful and will add wonderfully to the learning and historical part of the excursion.

Krasnokutskiy Dendropark

Coutry side excursion to town of Krasnokutsk - visiting Dendropark which contains unique and beautiful collection of flora and fauna species brought to the old mansion from Japan, China, America, Canada, Germany, France and many other coutries, as well as visiting arts museum in Parkhomovka village. This village is located right at the junction of three regions of Ukraine – Sumy, Poltava and Kharkov. And this little village hosts amateur arts museum well known in world arts circles. Korobov Khutor Tract, women’s monastery Svyato-Borisoglebskiy

Country excursion to village Vodyanoe of Zmiyev district, includes visiting women’s monastery. The group is taken though Zmiyev defend hills, following up with picnic in a very beautiful nature site on the bank of White Lake.
