Rent-a-cell
If you come over to Kharkov for some time, its wise to have a local cell phone number for the period of your stay in Kharkov, that turns out much cheaper and more convenient than using your home mobile service roaming. By our experience, American cell phones's roaming does not work here (though your company would announce it will!), and European roaming has often problems with our local operators roaming. Besides, it is much more convenient to have local cell: any minute you can call your friend or our office if you have any questions, or problems have appeared, also people whom you are visiting wont have problems finding you. Domestic flights (from Kiev into Kharkov):
There are two flights - from Borispil international airport of Kiev, and from Zhulyani domestic Kiev airport. There is convenient web-site www.ukrainefare.com where you can book the Borispil Kiev-Kharkov flight and collect the tickets when you arrive into Borispil from your international flight.
This way of transportation is convenient if your international flight arrival comply conveniently with domestic flights time table. The flight takes about an hour and is done by Ukrainian aircompanies such as Aerosweet, Aeromost, etc.
